That TUIC female is gorgeous. I have a couple females from Kevin but they didn’t color up like yours. I’ll wait until he gets more to see what happens. How long ago did you have her?Comparison of some females from different bloodlines:

My TUIC female was arguably the brightest of the bunch, and I am deeply disheartened that I lost her. I have another female from another bloodline, but she is VERY small and isn't even close to maturity. I only know she's a female because I can see that she has some very bright pinks coming in on her abdomen. I do notice that in HRPs (and some honduran nigrofasciata locales), males also get pink (or orange in the other locales) on their abdomens. It is usually just an undertone, however it can come in iridescent pink flecks like the females. Females themselves seem to get either a small iridescent blotch under/between their first and third bars, or a large one that covers their entire abdomen up to the fourth or fifth.
I am still trying to figure out why the Ken Davis female looks convitct-ey, and if she has any in her. I have noted differences in the gills, such as the presence of black on the operculum and what seems to be either the vestigial remains of or seed in the development of a spine, which most HRP lack. I also note the shipe of the lips, as in verifiably pure HRPs, the head runs flush with the top lip and curls down. One other thing I notice in traditional "pure" HRPs is the fact that all bars are straight except for the first full bar, and do not connect. Body and fin shape also throws me off a bit, and while all of these should point to her having convict in her, all of these can also be attributed to variance, as while HRPs traditionally have rounded operculums, longer bodies, bullet shaped heads with flush lips and straight/disconnected barring, it is not unheard of for them to have all of her features, and it is additionally, not unheard of for pure nigrofasciata to have HRP features as well.
This is one of my females that is starting to color up, from the mixed line of rusty wessel/Ken Davis. She’s more green than blue it seems. That TUIC female is gorgeous. I have 6 that are adults. 1 male and 5 females. The one male is the super blue one that I post all the time. I’m currently trying to breed the females with the super green gen 1 father from rusty wessel. He’s flirting with a couple of them.I believe I got her around January, had her until around when I started this thread. How many of the green Ken/rusty crosses do you have grown out?
Do you'd think you'd be willing to spare an extra female or two to send my way?I have 6 that are adults. 1 male and 5 females. The one male is the super blue one that I post all the time. Of course, they’re all really colorful so I’ll send you 2. I need the space anyway lol. I’ll send them when I’m back in town, I’m gone for 2 weeks as of today.Do you'd think you'd be willing to spare an extra female or two to send my way?
