Very chilly,first time I've had to close all the windows in the house since the spring.

Lol, yes, temperatures which will have us running around in shorts and tees in April, but when they strike now...after a nice warm summer...they feel positively arctic!
It was officially the first day of autumn about three days ago in blighty. Temps dropping, autumn definitely upon us. There was quite a chill in the air this morning.
That large plastic tote which young Esox and myself cool off in when it's hot has been cleaned out and filled with wood for storage for my woodburner. I secured a weatherproof cover over it to keep it all dry.
I also chopped a load of kindling whilst I was at it. I was getting a bit of a sweat on actually so I took my top off. An hour later I went in the house and my missus said my back was red......SUNBURN!!!
Looks like summer isn't ready to give up just yet, lol.

Weather has been really nice here for the last couple of weeks - not hot - not cold. There have been some beautiful twilight skies.
