How’s the weather?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Good stuff. We had our last heat wave (I think?) a week or so ago, with daytime highs also over 80F. Last few days I’m looking for winter socks when I get up. Lol

Hopefully everyone here comes out of this years storms & fires safely. We have it pretty good on this side of the rockies, with nothing more serious than some rather smokey weather here and there to contend with.

Yeah, I agree. 61F is the forecasted high for today. lol
It's actually dropped since I posted, currently 31F/-1C, mixed in with a mist. Nice

This is definitely my favourite time of year; cool nights, still some warm but not stupidly hot days, hunting season looming, birds in migration...I love it.

And I especially love it...not that it happens too often, mind you!...when I get to respond to a thread like this by comparing how nice and warm it still is here compared to some other poster's locales. We have low- to mid-20C temps forecast for the next seven days, night-time temps around 10C. 8)

I love both spring and fall, it’s just the season in between those two that I don’t enjoy. Lol

Think yourself lucky you have four seasons where your weather splits up into definable periods. Most of the time we have 365 seasons in blighty, lol.

I always thought that "blighty" (I love that term!) had only two seasons: the Rainy Season...and Christmas! :)

Ah yes, the good ol' days. That pesky global warming fecked that up. Lol.

Esox, it's not "global warming" anymore; that term no longer carries the cachet of terror that is required. It's now "climate change"...or is there an even newer, even more vaguely frightening terminology of which I am unaware?
