How aggressive are red terror being south american cichlids?

5-6 inch fish won't be ok with a bass. I don't know how big the bass is in that picture, but i can just tell from it's shape that it's fully mature, good color, proportions tell me it's adult. it'll eat a 5 inch fish no problem.
 
I've seen large Pbass eat live mice before that where around 5 inches. So id have to imagine a fish would be a snack. Just my opinion though.

The pair of orinocensis bass in pic are 10 -12 inch female and 14-16 male"

maybe I could try a 5-6 goldfish before a terror

I think the point he's trying to make is that adding a fish that they can eat be might be giving them live food unintentionally.
