I was giving the rivulatus to my dad, along with the rest of the tanks occupants. My old man is actually ready to have them now.I was going to put my thorichthys in there,I may still do this.
As the time has come to part with them I am finding it difficult to proceed.
I just can't make up my mind.
If I do decide to keep them I may try a small group of festea and see how it goes.I would imagine it best to add them as fairly small fish as they are pound for pound more aggressive than rivulatus. I think I would start with 4 at around the 3 to 4 inch mark.
I would not be entirely comfortable trying this as I hate making bad choices and risking the welfare of any fish in my care. Having said that I am really tempted to try as the two species together should make a nice display.
When ever my rivulatus spawn it is always right at one end of the tank.They are also quite mild on the aggression front.
With my rivulatus larger size,it may just work?
