a nice looking banjar red would sell for about £125-150

this one i think you would be very lucky to get £80 for him

to be honest i think you would be lucky to sell it at all

echo richards comments, and if anyone in the uk knows what you'd be able to buy and sell an asian he'd know. think you'd struggle to sell it.

if you're into selling beacuse of monery - nurse it back to health as everyone has already said.

if your're into getting rid of it then any sacrifice sale price will do (be prepared to get less than 100 quid for this).

To nurse back to health, water changes (every 3 days) and salt - maybe some antiboitics if anything is open cut (but am a big fan of cleaning, water, and salt).

If you're looking to just purely get rid of the fish then I would offer it for free and ask for a kind gesture if they wish to because I have never seen an arowana in that state before and I doubt many people will want such a fish in their tanks. Maybe donate it to the London Aquarium?

I mean im not thinking of making money on this but i would still like some moeny for it as at the end of the day its still a banjar red arowana, its a healthy fish now, just the face thats going to take a long time to heal, because of this reason i cant justify to give this away for free.

Just because it's a banjar it doesn't mean it's of high quality. I hope you can find a new home for it as well as get some money in return but I think what all the other members here are saying is that you shouldn't expect much or even little amounts as the scales are totally mutated and I doubt that they will heal without some sort of operation. I also have doubts whether the head will ever heal since the situation is so serious.

It's just like anything else that you don't take care of, worth very little. Maybe look at it from the aro's point of view and just find an owner that is willing to do what it takes to properly care for this poor thing. Instead of trying to recover financially a loss that is a result of your own neglect.
