I don't think you can nurse it back to it's original form. I've seen RTG and SRs in my LFS that turned up like that and they never get sold as they been like that for many years.

Right now Asian aros are now affordable to most people who likes them especially banjars or green aro. Also people would want to grow a small aro to adulthood so they can experience the fish. It's best to give it away for free to someone as selling it would be a lot harder.

Absoloutely correct. My RTG only cost me £300 including courier charges and comparing the quality of my fish to that is far.

You must realise that the fish has been neglected far enough and you are very unlikely to get any substantial amount from it so I don't see why you wouldn't be willing to give it to the London Aquarium where space and food are ample, as opposed to say £40 and a negligent hobbyist.

Wow, I never ever seen a fish look like that. I doubt you will get 1/4 of what its worth.
I would not pay near or half the value for a banged up BMW, for any thing at that.

Hope you can rehome him as a rescue

I mean im not thinking of making money on this but i would still like some moeny for it as at the end of the day its still a banjar red arowana, its a healthy fish now, just the face thats going to take a long time to heal, because of this reason i cant justify to give this away for free.
You're asking alot here though as it's in bad condition and I also agree with the posters you would be lucky to sell if for any money, if you do it won't be alot. It doesn't look like it's been properly cared for dude...
