Ever since I got rid of the pacu, my oscar seems very lonely in his 75. He just paces the front of the tank all day waiting for someone to come over and play with him. I have an air pump going, which he goes over to sometimes, and I gave him a plant and a ping pong ball I sunk in the tank to play with. Unfortunately, the tank is very sparse with no plants or anything in it now. I had 2 huge pacu that I was rehoming and I figured they needed the space to swim. So, is there anything I can do to entertain him until I get him some new friends (silver dollars and syno cats)?

lol move your light to the front of the tank, it will likely attack it's reflection.

Are you supposed to float or sink the ping pong ball?

Get another Oscar, mine have a routine, one chases the other when it's not hiding, who ever gets to the food first wins. Keeps them both entertained
