as for the shells , just make sure he gets vitamin d and calcium in his diet with plenty of UV light and that will make sure it dont get worst. Kinda too late to reverse the damage.

Waterland tubs are pretty durable, and you cant go wrong with them... enjoy.

Wow nice. You have some herp collection from reading your other posts.
Can you post what turtles you keep even if in another thread.

I rarely go in big box stores, so these tubs are news to me. This would be perfect for my eastern painted....hopefully stores are still carrying them even though winter stuff is coming out.

Nice setup looks like a nice upgrade.
----------------

You can order them online granted shipping bites .

I saw them in mags ans assumed they were cheap junk plastic but they are far from that. I am on the fence as to whether buy the large one or water trough for my 2 small turtles .
They are kept outside so either one will work but the turtle tubs are nicely made.

I will soon... I just have a few more things to acquire and setup up. And eventually you'll see the whole collection, turtles, tortoises, snakes, and lizards.

How do you like that turtle heater ? I was looking at them online .
thanks for the suggestions, I'm gonna stop by a few places tomorrow for aquatic plants

I got the heater I'm using now from petco http://www.petco.com/product/109528...eCat=AquaticTurtleHPTemperatureControlHeating

the temp outside dropped today and so this heater became absolutely inadequate and i threw in a second aquarium heater I had and the temp is slowly climbing back up..hope I didnt give these guys too much of a shock. got back today to find the temp at 69.2F..:WHOA:

BTW am I right that the temp should be around 75F+ for RES? What's the rec. threshold for water temp?
