INDY DIY GUYS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This is what I need to start doing instead of paying for metal stands. Then I can keep adding more tanks. He He He.

The in-wall tank is up and running! We still have a couple things to finish up, but I will be attempting to get a few fish in there by this weekend. Got 9" of snow, so I probably won't make it over there today.

Didn't take my camera, so I'm waiting on her to send them to me.

Well, I finally sucked it up and bought a 1000W heater, a 500W heater and a controller today. Hopefully They will all get here this week and I can get them going this weekend.

Also going to try and get the drip try done for the filter and figure out some way to cover the sump to prevent heat loss.<---Still working on this one.

What about covering the drip tray with a piece of acrylic or glass, and then covering that with some of the pink insulation foam board? You could set whatever thickness you wanted on it. And you could wrap the sump in it as well to help hold in heat.

Pretty mcuh what I was thinking, but I haven't convinced myself to do it yet. I'll just come up with something when I get started. I like to wing it. Always more fun that way.:D
