In one of your earlier picture a few pages back it looked like you had an electric eel in a tank by its self....or was it a lung fish?

What are some of your bigger fresh water fish as far as size wise....i plan on having a aquarium similar to your size but i want some monsters to inhabit it.....I already decide on Arapaima Gigas and Arrowanas any other suggestions?

Great that you are building a monster tank. Which will be it's size?

It will probably be similar to yours...about 10 ft deep and the back wall 48 feet across then to a semicircle that is roughly 25 ft from the center....and i was planning on have like 6-10 monster fish in there. At least 2 or 3 Arapaima Gigas and Arrowanas...What other monster fish would you recomend? And where did you get your electric eel from?

Wow that will be a fantastic tank.

Yes the Pimas and aros will do well.

You will find that most the shovelnose types and redtail cats will fit in well.

I have found the big asian cats to be aggressive to the pimas.

By having the 10 foot deep tank you will be able to put huge shoals of small and mid sized fish as well.

My Electric eel was bought from Sian at Biotope in Montreal Canada in 1999.

I have seen them in stores over the past 10 years on occasion and always very small 4" to 8".
