what size do u have frontosa on your program? and i appreciate the effort u did to put a program like this together, it give some people an idea even tho its not 100% accurate all the time
I currently have it at 12 inches but marked as somewhat cleaner than new world cichlids of similar sizes. I've yet to receive any feedback on this species yet though.

And yes, more feedback I receive, more accurate the result will become, but probably not 100%. From what I can tell, many novice people have already tried this app and realized what they were going to do isn't going to work so it triggered further discussions on the forums to validate and come back with alternative stocking plans... I think this is cool. :D

I see. So it sounds like 12 inches is ok but it can live in a tank that is 12 inches deep.
Yeah, for this particular species, I'd say yes. However, I'd recommend atleast a 3ft tank for one specimen, and a 4ft for multiple.

Sure thing. :)
Appreciated.

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 25%.
Recommended water change schedule: 63% per week. (You might want to split this water change schedule to two separate 39% per week)
Your aquarium stocking level is 173%.
</B>You should consider a larger tank for this combination.

Wow what do you have in your tank? Currently, AqAdvisor tend to undercut the stocking level when it comes to larger species.

55 - So... 235% seems kinda crazy... :D
40 Breeder - Near perfect. That's after using an ornate bichir as a replacement for the lap.
29 - still got work to do.

Let me know if I am off with any of the following:

- Polypterus senegalus: 12 inches
- Polypterus delhezi: 14 inches
- Metynnis argenteus: not there! what did you use as a substitute?
- Apteronotus albifrons: 15 inches

So understandably, your tank would be seriously overstocked if the above sizes are correct... Are they?

Oh, yes the sizes are correct, except a BGK will rarely get over 12-13".

I know the tank is "overstocked". I made it that way on purpose. I was just stating how crazy 235% sounds. It was not a dig at your website at all, just a little note of my extreme stocking preferences on that particular tank. :)

I used the Silver Dollar you had listed, you listed it as Metynnis hypsauchen instead.
