Tank 1:

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 477%.

Tank 2:
Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 539%

Very interesting site, it told me that my oscar could outgrow the tank(which I knew) and that my giant gourmai is fine (even though I think it needs an upgrade)

Still a great calculator to recommend to peeps new to the hobby.

Thanks! :D

It didn't say Giant Gourami would outgrow but Oscar would? That is strange, since I currently have G Gourami minimum tank set to 84x24 tank which I am pretty sure is larger than Oscar's minimum footprint. Or are those in two separate tanks?

Funny site, doesnt really work with larger setup's and certain fish, but try it and post your result! :D

Does that mean I need to give users ability to flag whether some of the fishes selected are food? :D

Its a work in progress. It works pretty good for common species but for rarer species it may be off. The goal is to gather as much feedback as I can to improve the results for rarer species as well. Its been live for 4 months and say, 12 months from now, it will be in a good shape (I hope!)

First off, great work on the site! It's turning into an excellent tool!

Due the lack of a sump option, my readings are incorrect, but for fun heres a # from it.... Your aquarium stocking level is 315%

If possible could you add the Tigrinus Catfish, Brachyplatystoma tigrinum, http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=354

Thanks and keep up the good work!
