Common Pleco grows rather big - I have it recorded at 18 inches. Also it produces a lot of waste even if you take the size into account. It will command very large % of the total bioload your setup can handle...CornBread;3779504; said:now what do you mean by the bio load of the pleco

What do you have in your tank though? And your tank dimension? Filtration should not affect the overall bioload %, it will only affect filtration capacity %.
