You will find that as soon as you remove that pleco, your bioload will go down significantly. But just looking at your stock list, I don't think any of your species belong in that sized tank, unless that's a temporary home.

now what do you mean by the bio load of the pleco
Common Pleco grows rather big - I have it recorded at 18 inches. Also it produces a lot of waste even if you take the size into account. It will command very large % of the total bioload your setup can handle...

this really is a an interesting site.

sure does have a lot of warnings though :D
Many of those warnings are detected by series of general rules. If you don't agree with any particular ones, please let me know. I can create exceptions for those.

Thanks. :D

I'll add your species in my wishlist.

What do you have in your tank though? And your tank dimension? Filtration should not affect the overall bioload %, it will only affect filtration capacity %.

Thanks!

Here's the pic from the site. I substituted a Lima Shovelnose Catfish for my Tigrinus Catfish.

I'm running a 50g wet-dry/sump, and a 30gpd drip system. I test bi-weekly and my parameters are perfect. Granted, these are all babies or juveniles, and this is a growout tank for them.
