In juvy mode

Warning: Peacock Bass Monoculus is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 25 inches.

Warning: Saddled Bichir is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 24 inches.
Warning: Florida Gar is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 24 inches.
Warning: Your selected species may eventually require 160% of your aquarium space. You may need to deal with territorial aggressions later on. Try removing some of (Parachromis managuensis, Polypterus endlicheri endlicheri) or get a larger aquarium tank.

Recommended temperature range: 25 - 25 C.
Recommended pH range: 7 - 7.5.
Recommended hardness range: 10 - 12 dH.

Warning: You NEED to add more aquarium filtration capacity!!!

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 59%.
Your tank is too small - it will require massive amount of frequent water changes per week!

Your aquarium stocking level is 215%.
Your tank is seriously overstocked. Unless this setup is temporary, you should consider a larger tank.

This will be amazing once all the bugs are worked out

PS: Fluval 405-100gal

Hard for me to tell what is not right from that report. Can you point it out to me? Thanks!

the only thing i found wrong is the Fluval 405 is rated at 100 gallons not 65 beyond that everything looks good

That's intentional - I am using 65% of the rated capacity when I am calculating needed filtration capacity. IMO, manufacturers are a bit too idealistic/optimistic with their filtration capacities.

Yup this one has been suggested. What I want to do is to create a "report" mode that basically will contain all information about what you selected, but printer/copypaste friendly.

This one is doable right now. :D Try clicking on "Add a filter" link. You can add as many as you want.

What temperature are you keeping your fishes?
thks for the follow up & filter answer

my temps for my discus/oto tank is 86F

thks, was able to add my sponge filter option

result:

Warning: Water temperature requirements are not fully compatible between all selected species.
=> 82.4 - 87.8F: Discus (14 juvies)
=> 68 - 78.8F: Oto (3 juvies)

Recommended pH range: 5.5 - 7.8.
Recommended hardness range: 1 - 15 dH.

You have plenty of aquarium filtration capacity.

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 156%.
Recommended water change schedule: 43% per week.
Your aquarium stocking level is 133%.
