I know this is asking too much but could you possilby cater to the dark side (Salt Water) I don't expect you to but it would be nice. I like using this for my fresh water setups.yhbae01;3728544; said:Just to give you a better idea on how AqAdvisor.com works. Initially, a species (requested from a user) gets added to DB but based on my own research on the profile sites and forums. Often, this is not 100% accurate. Even profile sites are not consistent. Once added, users can try out their own species and they will let me know if it is in line with their expectations or not. If not, I fine tune attributes for the particular species until the result looks right. Once tuned, next user who selects the same species will benefit from this result.
The key thing here is the feedback from experienced users. I am NOT familiar with large new world cichlids and never kept them during the 7 years of my hobby. Once the problem is identified, DB is designed flexible enough that I can fix individual species bioloads and compatibility issues.
I'd appreciate to those who can provide some feedback, both +ve and -ve ones.
Thanks!
Yeah, agreed that you could keep any bichir for life in an 80x32 tank.xlnzen;4031016; said:Length(inch) 78.7 Depth(inch)31.5, Height(inch)23.6 (253.3gUS)
Warning: Saddled Bichir is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 24 inches.
Recommended temperature range: 25 - 28 C. [Display in Farenheit]
Recommended pH range: 6.8 - 7.5.
Recommended hardness range: 6 - 15 dH.
You have plenty of aquarium filtration capacity.
Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 120%.
Recommended water change schedule: 58% per week. (You might want to split this water change schedule to two separate 35% per week)
Your aquarium stocking level is 146%
Please add more Snakeheads to the lists, i would love to see more species than just the rainbow one there. for example: aurantimaculata, marulioides, marulius, micropeltes.
For good info about snakeheads, visit: http://www.snakeheadsuk.com/
And also, as far as i know, Polypterus Lapradei can reach same size as Endlicheri Endlicheri if im not mistaken And i dont agree that Endlicheri will get too big for my tank
If i add the fish i have on growup also, i get up to 276% overstocked
Nice calculator tho! Gives one a good overlook about the stock in the tank and so on.
Actually, I am going to build it. My knowledge in Salt water species is much more restricted though, so I am going to start slow and add few species at a time. I am going to need quite a bit of help either confirming +ve or -ve results though. Quite a few people are interested in this.cancore;4026201; said:I know this is asking too much but could you possilby cater to the dark side (Salt Water) I don't expect you to but it would be nice.
