Aggressive community tanks that are too small turn into "fish thunder dome" EVERY TIME. 2 FISH ENTER I FISH LEAVES- Or both fish kill each other that happens too. The worst part of working at a pet store was selling fish to people who want a "friend" for their monster. Your monster doesn't want a friend it wants victims. Even if you find something "compatible"... What's the point of keeping a bunch of tattered in eyeless fish that hide in their respective corners?

Seriously. This is immature and irresponsible fish keeping. Obviously no cichlids will work out. Keep the SH by itself.
If you need aggressive tankmates try an equal sized or larger arowana like an Asian. Also a SH may not bother an equal sized wolf fish and if it did, it would learn that it's a tankmate not to be messed with.

if given the space the snakehead might be able to calm down a bit. i also recommend a group of anabas testudius. the SH wont eat them.

Go find a Hoplias aimara (Giant wolffish) or a sub adult Redtail catfish with an attitude. I'm not a SH expert but I can assure you that an aggressive RTC is more than capable of living in that tank. (ofc as soon as it gets acclimated)

Wolf fish? I have kept some of them and I got stitches all over my hands just because I tried to adjust some equipment far away from their shelter in the tank.

Considering it's almost 20 yrs since you posted this, I assume after your SH killed almost every single cichlid species u could find, u finally found something that killed your SH and if you didn't, go find these 2 fish and let them kill themselves by trying to swallow your SH and put all these poor creatures out of their misery at once.
