come on Don what you waiting for!?!?! ;)

Your right…. I am tired of waiting :irked:… if we move then we move… if we don’t then we don’t… I am going to start this weekend. Hey by the way I am going to Tropical Haven tomorrow about 5:30 pm. Is there anything you want me to look out for, for you?

Don

yeah moving with a planted tank would really suck! but lemme know how it goes with the setup. and lemme know if you see any jumbo clown loaches! they usually have the small ones there but i want some at least 3~4"+ :)

Jose..
I think I told you last time. I went there about 2 weeks ago and they had 4 or 5 at 4" or 4.5". They might still be there. You can pm me with your number and I could pic send you if they do.

looking like an awesome start to alot more work, keep us updated so we can watch the HC grow like wild fire

Hey buddy... this would look cool. If you put play sand or pool sand in the green area. It would give an open swim area for your fish like corys or what ever.

That would actually look pretty cool. See below

yeah that would look cool. but how do these guys keep the plants from growing in that area? i would imagine this requires very constant trimming :nilly:

and that first tank is amazing. has so much depth and dimension. i cant tell from the pics, but are those just rocks piled up on the left and right sides with plants growing on top?

Looks that way, and your rock work and layout lend itself well to that type of aquascape already.

What about using any plastic molding that comes in a roll. Just cut it and mold it to the shape you want. You also may need to put some small rocks under the sand to hold its shape. That is just my opinion.
