I'm very happy with the growth rates of my cichlid fries at twice a day feedings. And I grow them in quantities. A few thousand at a time. Quantity is a relative term. A few thousand to me is a lot but may be nothing for some.

...and IMO, I use the cleanest feed for fry which is newly hatched brine shrimp. Anything other than that tends to require more water changes.

so it was 6 days ago i put the parents in another tank,on there own again.
well theres a ton of eggs again in the new tank

Your tank is very zen-like. They are peaceful fishies... and they make babies when they are happy. Just leave em be this time. You're gonna have your hands full if these guys hatch out. I smell money!

there not eggs,there already wigglers!!!!!

and wigglers as in there tails are sticking out of the eggs and are wiggling.
now that there wiggling,parents moved them under the rock.

Oh, boy! That is really fast to have another batch. Usually it takes a few weeks for them to lay again. My pair haven't laid yet. What are you gonna do with these guys?

What's the size difference in the two batches? You might be able to put them together if it's not to great. But if mine breed again, they are going to be left where they are this time. I have too many.

1st batch turned into free swimmers on 8/09
2nd batch just turned free swimmers today,8/20
so the batches are about 11 days apart!!!
