I'm very happy with the growth rates of my cichlid fries at twice a day feedings. And I grow them in quantities. A few thousand at a time. Quantity is a relative term. A few thousand to me is a lot but may be nothing for some.;)

...and IMO, I use the cleanest feed for fry which is newly hatched brine shrimp. Anything other than that tends to require more water changes.

Your tank is very zen-like. They are peaceful fishies... and they make babies when they are happy. Just leave em be this time. You're gonna have your hands full if these guys hatch out. I smell money!

Oh, boy! That is really fast to have another batch. Usually it takes a few weeks for them to lay again. My pair haven't laid yet. What are you gonna do with these guys?

What's the size difference in the two batches? You might be able to put them together if it's not to great. But if mine breed again, they are going to be left where they are this time. I have too many.
