cool...yeah im not really looing to breed more in there...but wouldnt mind some more fish if it didnt effect them fastae. I may try some cons or something....
Great looking pair. Mine showed breeding colors forever, and refused to breed with any other fish in, as soon as I pulled all out, I had eggs in less than 24 hours. They turned to two pots I had in there up, rearranged all the gravel and then decided to use the flat rock, so maybe throw one of those in as well. As far as live food, the female enjoyed guppies, but the male didn't even bother. As far as other food, they like their bloodworms and hikari, but wouldn't touch beefheart.

thats what I was wondering if other fish make them shy away. I may try still tho and pull the other fish out if it doesnt work.

Good lookin' pair................my pair eat massivore - they luv it , won't touch feeders tho. Once my 2 lay + fert eggs............the killin' starts - plec's, bichars, other SA/CA's don't matter they'll make sure those eggs hatch. BUT that's just my pair I've seen plenty of MFkers with Festae pairs livin' with other fish.

Live Food--- I would be cautious! Make sure you ask the previous owner to see what kind of food they fed them. Sometimes introducing live food might not go well during the digestion part.

Awesome fish! They look very very nice!

I suggest tinfoil barbs are dithers.

gonna paint it black I think...just too humid to do it last night before setup. The prev owner had them in a sun room so there was no background...
