Yeah but you brought the tank up. You're correct that it's nobody's problem but yours. Until you openly discuss it on a public forum, then anybody can comment. That's kind of the whole point of a forum.

He's not being offensive, he's telling you the truth and sometimes that's really hard to hear. I know you're not intentionally trying to be malicious but lies are a big deal man, you can ruin your whole reputation in a second with a lie. To your own admission, and announcement, you've said that you've lied in the past. This is going to automatically paint a bulls eye on your back.

And none of anything I'm saying means that you don't love your fish.
Well, your right about that my friend.
When I get my bigger tank, I will happily show you. I can't wait for it.
True, you are right about the reputation. I understand.

That bigger tank was a lie? If that was a lie, then how is anyone going to believe you about anything? Is the 55g w/ an oscar, GT, geos, pacu, red hooks, wide bars, pleco etc...did I miss anything else or is that a different tank? And the water in that tank looked pretty cloudy.

WOAH..........
Wait a second here. Who said the bigger tank was a lie? Why would I lie about getting a bigger tank. I think, I have made my intentions clear that I am getting a bigger tank.
I have been looking for the perfect tank and I will be find it, just takes time. Patience is a virtue, I just don't wanna rush into one.
No, the water isn't cloudy there is heavy filteration on the tank.

Ok.
I shouldn't have said I had a bigger tank cycling at the moment, that was on me.
But, I am NOT getting any more fish for this set-up until I have the biggest tank I can get set up. So the cichlids mentioned in this thread will not be only I upgrade.
I may have to rehome some stock and keep my best fish, and if that's the case no worries from me.
I would be happy with a 120 gallon tank with a few silverdollars the ones I have, my geos, a few bandits, my gt, my severum, chocolate, and pleco and maybe 1-2 flagtails.

you might want to spring for a 150 or 180 with that stocklist, 4 foot 120 that is gonna get cramped

You both are right. More than likely I will have to reduce my stock a lot, but that's fine, I'll just keep the fish I like the best. When the time comes, I'll make that decision. I do know that I will be keeping atleast a few of my black bar and redhooks. I also want my geos and chocolate and severum.
I am glad that I found out about the cinder block stand, I can pick up a 6' tank and build a stand.
