Local Fish Store/Chain Store Red Texas - Red Texas or Kamfa Flowerhorn?

Lolwut? Flowerhorn can be and is used in some strains of Red Texas. I don't know who you get your information from but its not right.

Someone classifying the real bloodline who I had sold some jaguar frys to in the past. I called to get some clarification from him before I wasted my time hunting down this fish at petsmart. He said you have a better chance finding them in red devil tank than anything. He also said it should be already orange/reddish color all around by 2inch if its a true Red Texas cichlid. If not its a hybrid version where it kept more of the Texas cichlid gene for color.

Im in miami and ive been lucky enough to find two true rts. Mind you out of 20 or so bought, BUT i finally can tell them apart. So every thursday im there on shipment day to see what they get at what is from what i know the only store petsmart or other in miami that get red texas in from segrest. So dont lose hope folks. Theyre out there.

I have a pet supermarket by me that orders from segrest with flower horns labeled as green terrors for 3$ they have a red eyes a small kok and kinda look like red dragon are they still PK?

Pk stands for petsmart KAMFA if it look like a red dragon flowerhorn then it not a kamfa its a red dragon. Post a picture for further id.
