Here are some pictures of my thorichthys helleri tank with Rio otapa swordtails.
This is how the tank looked just after it was first set up.
The thorichthys are probably about 20 -25 mm at this stage but still quite pretty for juveniles.

These tank designs are just stunning. Easily the best I've seen, def given me some awesome scaping ideas. That's awesome that your dad's got a fish house that you can take them to when you need a change up. At least you know those lovely fish are being cared for.

Yeah it is really handy my old man's fish house.
He likes it too as the tight old sod never has to buy a fish.
