Lowly tinfoil barbs getting their own thread...

Question for the group. I recently upgraded my giant gourami's lighting to Aquaneat full spectrum LED lights. He looks fantastic on them. I want to do the same to my 90g tinfoil barb tank. I tried one of the lights on their tanks and it washes out the red color on their fins completely. 12 Volt Man 12 Volt Man I am surprised that 2 cichlids have half a tail missing but the tinfoils have always been perfect. Why is that?

the problem is I think they get beaten up a bit by the other sajicas. they eat well etc. but this must be what's happening. I never see the aggression just the damage

follow up to my question earlier, I ended up getting the hygger full spectrum bulbs for both of my tanks and they look fantastic. Charlie is much nicer looking under the hygger than the Aquaneat bulbs:
