She will probably start moving them around tomorrow evening or so to the pits they dug so you will be able to get a better look at them soon. Expect more aggressive displays from the male during this time. Cons can be little monsters when caring for fry.

Well we definitely have tons of babies! When I shine a flashlight in the cave one section of the floor is shaking
They haven't moved any of them out yet since they are all still laying on the floor but definitely lively little things! The male doesn't really seem to be bothered by me but he sits in front of the cave when I shine the flashlight in! So hopefully they will move them out soon so I can get some better pictures for you guys.

Nice!!! You are going to have some nice fry from this pair buddy. Regular striped, pink, and marbled fry all from these two fish. My last spawn of marble x pink I could see marble markings coming in on fry before they were even an inch, I think that spawn yielded more marbled fry than my last spawn of marble x marble actually. Can't wait to see what you get!

How soon can you tell what color the fry will be? As of now all of them are the color of their father. I wanna say I can see some black markings or dots on them but I'm not sure.

Definitely will! I plan on taking some photos tonight, the way the male sweeps his fins and trying to look big and bad is amazing!

Just wait until that male is 6", he really will be big and bad! You should be able to see the color difference in the fry in a week or so. The white ones will get the white on their head and shoulder area first and it will spread to the rest of their body soon after that.

Ok thanks for the info! The male has started to pitch in with the clean up, he's been taking sand out and making more pits. But most of the time just sits sideways on the entrance and shakes his fins.
