Metal monster 3k

Pics just dont serve it justice...no way to even get the full effect in one frame...ill stop posting now lol sorry for the derail everyone

Hah nice! thankyou my friend...before the pool was down there and I had a shop to work in, I worked from home doing a lot of airbrushing work. You can tell I have the attention span of a 5yr old as I painted most of the walls lol...
 
wow i really like your style its got that deathish/gore feelin to them that i love :) and im really diggin the second pic, its got kind of an old school punk feeling, but with a twist, very nice

Man I wish houses on the west coast had basements lol that setup is so sick! And here I was thinking I was the only one using a metal file cabinet as a stand :cool: I took the handles off mine and turned it on its side (so the drawers are facing down) to use as a temp stand for my old 55, but u don't wanna know whats sitting on it now... a 90 :eek:That's why I just built a new stand lol, the steel hasn't warped at all tho in 5 years so it was a good idea going metal for the 3k

hell yeah man! I've often debated turning the cabinet on its side for a 55gal....I had a 20 on top for a while but it was a bit too much weight and it bowed down pretty good. That's just a little 10 up there now...My file cabinet came with the house :) its full of fish odds and ends and a 90 gal on one is pretty scary, but whatevers clever lol. Thanks btw on my setup, im riding the line of "amazing" and "insanity" at this point. still have a 500 in my garage to bring in and of course the 3K, One of these days this thread will get back on track :)
 
Haha mine came with our old house too but the drawers slide all the way to the back frame so its actually pretty solid on the back panel. The 55 fit perfectly too but I definitely wouldn't recommend it, especially not a 90. It hangs off the back by 4'' and has been that way for 3 years so I'm relieved to finally have a real stand for it, its the type of thing someone would make a thread about if they saw a picture of it on google :p Don't worry tho man, I've seen insane setups (like mine maybe) but yours still looks amazing. I can't even imagine how good it will look with the 500 and 3k lol, where is the 3k going?
