Metal monster 3k

Your definitely a bass addict when you ask for pictures on every thread, lol

Drip looks good. I don't even filter my water like some others, it just goes strait into tthe sump and to the tank.

Looks great!
How about some more pics of those bass?

looking good. don't know why I haven't checked this before now lol. Now I get to be the one to say this lol. I read the entire 31 pages and expected to see a finished tank!!! I will be sad to see the pool gone though. I'm debating on getting one just to set up outside during the summer lol. Not to swim in unless I'm going in with the fish. could get a good 4 months use out of it during a warm summer like this year. :) Funny to think of SA fish outside in montana even during the summer. lol.

Im kinda surprised you haven't seen it yet necro....Im a bit sad to see the pool go too, but this new tank will give me some more "human space" in my basement and more water volume for the boys. Def. worth buying one I only have about $400 in mine with the additional 45 mil epdm liner and filtration. Its becoming quite the hassel to get it torn down tho as it holds 8 24-32" tsn I need to make temporary housing for and the very large florida ss turtle lol... Regardless im tinkering away one day at a time, tearing down 3 55's today so I can get the 500 gal in and once that's done its back to the 3k. Drip system is basically done so that will give me more time to build things rather than do waterchanges every hour of every day lol...Things r kinda a mess right now but are finally moving in the right direction. My apologies on completion and this thread being all over the place but that's just how my crazy brain works haha....Im sure you understand more than most necro, I followed ur build closely years ago :)

I debated not running any pre filtration, the deciding factor was really these two marineland 350's breaking a couple weeks ago. Repurposing is pretty much what I do, the shelf for them was from a broken shower caddie lol...My tap water is also pretty crummy, its not terrible but a bit of polishing couldn't hurt before it goes in and it doesn't use any electricity which I like lol...

Pics just dont serve it justice...no way to even get the full effect in one frame...ill stop posting now lol sorry for the derail everyone

Holy cow! that's a lot of tanks. When the Grand Opening you build your own little fish store!

Those look good to me.

Should just bolt some timbers together in whatever spare space you have and reuse the liner until you get the tank up and running. :) I'm sure you already played around with that idea though lol. You'd have to catch all the fish out into tubs until you got the liner in place. Man I wish I lived closer I would be there to film and grab me some kitties when you got ready to move them! lol, no one seriously into fish within 100 miles of here though. :(

you know anyone with spare tank space until you get the big one going? lol you can ship a few to me, but you paying the shipping. :)
