Metal monster 3k

3k is replacing the 1700 intex pool so thats another mess in itself lol...i have to build/buy a smaller temp pond so i can get the 3k in place and finish it up. Sadly theres no where else i can fit the 12' pool so thats my biggest dilemma but ill figure something out.

Finally piecing a whole house drip system together. Laid 80 ft. Of 1.5" drain pipe all the way around the back of my tank walls and installed 75 ft. Of 1/4" drip line up on the ceiling. The drip is fed through a saddle valve and 3 stage water filter. The drain can have all my tanks on it and feeds into my sump crock.

Drip drip drip :) rigged up these two inline filters for now (they fried out in recent power outages so i figured its a good start) , tapped into a waterline with a saddle valve and put in 3 shut off valves so i can work on things a bit. My emitters and more fittings come in thursday so now i just have to wait. Also plan on putting in some "standard" filter housings with carbon filters when i get some cash.

looking good. don't know why I haven't checked this before now lol. Now I get to be the one to say this lol. I read the entire 31 pages and expected to see a finished tank!!! I will be sad to see the pool gone though. I'm debating on getting one just to set up outside during the summer lol. Not to swim in unless I'm going in with the fish. could get a good 4 months use out of it during a warm summer like this year. :) Funny to think of SA fish outside in montana even during the summer. lol.

Oh yeah, the added pressure I forgot! Hurry up and get it built!! ;)

Wow, tank mania - love it!
Looks like a lot of head height on those FX5's; they'd probably have better flow if you pick them up off the floor a bit.

FX5 is a closed loop system. The height of the canister doesn't matter. If the canister was 10 feet below the tank, 10 feet to the side of the tank, or 10 feet above the tank the "head" would be the same. Weird huh.
