He has to be up there, but I don't think he's making a career out of it. He'll probably take one or two fights against unranked opponents.

I don't think Goldberg should do it. even against unranked fighters, it's not safe for him at this point. whatever lawal says should be taken with a grain of salt. fighters will always say good things about celeb amateurs who spends some time training as a hobby at their gyms

like when Dean Lister (I think it was) said james toney almost broke dean's arm or something during training for the couture fight, lol

anyways, wow, benson Henderson getting it done. the size difference was huge at the weigh ins. only hope I saw for bendo was that thatch hasn't been passed the first round in a while. but thatch was on a long win streak and all his finishes are stoppages. it seemed to me that it was just a matter of time before he'd catch benson or he'd win a comfortable decision victory. but when benson first found success with a takedown I started feeling better for him. he fought a great fight. I felt like the post fight analysis by bisping and dominic cruz was spot on. his movement and making thatch miss a lot, along with early body shots, making the fight go longer was a great strategy that won him the fight. mad respect for bendo, he showed good fight IQ and his experience was key to his victory

anyways

I don't have a problem with Goldberg giving it a shot. Brock Lesnar ended up a champion, so who knows.

I was very happy for Bendo. Thatch definitely did some damage to Bendo with the body shots early, but Bendo had some good body shots of his own. I agree with his fight IQ and experience being the big difference.
I'm not sure how Bendo keeps getting away with the toothpick in his mouth, but he needs to stop. If Thatch had KO'd him and he choked on it or something, it could make a bad situation worse. It's also illegal and there's no need for it.
