I'm pretty sure you could flex out of a RR armbar at that size lmao! You're a fool

so bottles, if you don't like watching inferior athletes fight each other...why watch it or support anything other then the top 4-5 fighters? Aside from a slight squeamish factor you seem to be honing in on the point that they're just not as great as men at fighting. yet, you watch a TON of fights of people who are no where near the skill level to match up with the superior fighters. shouldn't they be considered just as unworthy of the octagon and your money and time as women?

Why would I tap like a biotch? Why wouldn't I tap like a normal person? I have been tapped by a senior citizen who was also a Judo Olympian. There's no shame in tapping. It's stupid to think that a woman could beat a man 75lbs heavier who is working regularly though...

You really don't see many men fight outside of the top 20 in the UFC. A lot of the guys at the bottom end of the top 20 are up and comers, and I enjoy watching these men grow. I watch Bellator, WSOF and KSW as well, but they're free events. Even in the other organizations, I only follow a select few fighters, most of which are UFC bound.

I really just don't like chick fights. That's just me. I think I've said everything that I need to say on the topic. Anything past here will probably be redundant.

So, how do you guys like this weekends card? With the exception of chicks in the co-main event, it looks pretty solid.
Someone's going to sleep in the Nelson vs Overeem fight.

Main Card (PPV, 10 PM ET)

Anthony Pettis vs. Rafael dos Anjos
Carla Esparza vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk
Johny Hendricks vs. Matt Brown
Roy Nelson vs. Alistair Overeem
Henry Cejudo vs. Chris Cariaso

Preliminary Card (8 PM ET, FX)

Sam Stout vs. Ross Pearson
Elias Theodorou vs. Roger Narvaez
Daron Cruickshank vs. Beneil Dariush
Jared Rosholt vs. Josh Copeland

I think pettis has the quicker hands. rda has shown vast improvement with his striking but I think that will be his undoing because, like gil, it is what's gonna open him up to pettis' quicker hands. once hurt pettis is a finisher
Carla has wrestling but I hope Joanna wins. she's a more exciting fighter
Hendricks looks really good leading up to this fight. but in a way, I want brown to win. don't wanna see Hendricks fighting for the title again atm. but I think Hendricks stops brown
overeem will get ko'd again.
cejudo will win via wrasslin. such a disappointment about cejudo. wrestling's elite in the division and doesn't seem to have his mind right

Ya, I agree with all of your picks.
I thought the betting lines would be even on Nelson vs Overeem. I combo'd Nelson and Pettis.
RDA is a good pressure fighter, and Gil won the first round against Pettis, but in the end Gil lost and RDA probably will too.
Cejudos biggest enemy is the weight cut.
I'm expecting Hendricks to stop Brown to, but I think he'll need another fight before he gets a title shot.
I also combo'd Hendricks and Pearson which I think is a pretty safe bet.

rda is just more calculated than gil. gil thought he can turn it into a brawl like he's done against less dangerous and slower opponents and that's what got him clipped. rda is a harder puncher than gil though but I don't see him catching pettis

I feel that your bets are safe as well

big country just needs to survive the first round. he could get knocked out too, it's very possible. but if he fights smart he will ko overeem later in the fight. only thing is he is too hittable. but i'd still have overeem as the underdog. to me though this is one of those 50-50 fights. the thing with roy is, his style doesn't force his opponents to use a lot of energy. if they are quick on the feet, they can pace themselves and beat roy up from the outside and avoid the big right hand. but then again, overeem doesn't move like someone like jds. and it is only 3 rounds so if it's a slow paced fight overeem can pace himself to a decision too. then again, overeem doesn't fight defensively, his willingness to engage might do him in. i'm hoping for a stoppage though going either way.

I'm hoping Overeem can KO Big Country.
