muscle mass doesn't necessarily help you in this sport. if you have more muscle, they require more blood to work them. this is why you generally see buff dudes gassing so fast. even with roiders they can gas quickly but they get their energy and adrenaline from outside sources

What's this Heath issue of Cyborg's that places her life in jeopardy if she drops weight?

for women it is more dangerous to cut too much weight. it's harder for them to cut weight and more dangerous. higher risk of kidney failure. cyborg has a much bigger frame and body mass, she would be cutting a lot of water weight which gets dangerous the more you try to cut in short time frame. she probably walks around 160-170 lbs. which means she'd have to cut a lot of weight to make 135.

that's true. they're not trying to win body building trophies.

the muscle mass are side affects. and not all substances used are growth hormones, but performance enhancers
 
Same with some boxers and whatever banned drugs they may use.You can't really tell by looking at them if they are taking something or not.

I'm not sure what difference this will make though. I believe that they will still be able to use it, just not during fight week. I'm not sure how they will monitor it either.
 
You guys are missing the boat on Steroids and its use. The additional strength is minimal. It is the ability to train hard every day for 12 weeks having your body heal at record speed. It is recovery enhancing more than it ever gives strength.
