More tank pics, updated

Next round of pics after move day! It took most of Monday afternoon into the evening but everyone is now relocated. Even though I drained the 125 and removed everything the fish didn't cooperate
(naturally). The smaller fish kept hiding under the larger fish. Rocky, Corn and Cash all took turns jumping into the net. Cash started his 'featherfin squeaker croaking' routine. So I just hauled them all out like tuna and plucked the fry out.

I had two strange losses of the pink fry. They apparently jumped the tank when I was working in the other room and landed on the floor towels I laid down. When I picked up the towels they fell out. Really weird.

Now for the pics. I figured I'd measure Slade. He continues to get more and more striking. Right at 5 1/4" here. He has outstripped his sibling Mongo in overall size. More on that later.

Speck and Slade eye the camera warily. You can't see them but the free swimming fry are all over the sand out front. The parents have divided the tank in half and no one is allowed across the invisible line.

There are 7 cousins in with miracle fish Lazarus. I picked these as my absolute favorites so far and names will be coming at some point. Lazarus is in the first pic at the lower right. You can see his much younger cousins match his current size or are larger.
