Nice tank! Love the blue sand with the orange fish. Where did you get it?
Hi, its the Sandtastik floral sand. It's heavy and feels like large sugar crystals . Canadian company. Go to my "Best sand ever" thread for details. I have different colors in all my tanks. The color you see is carribean blue. Other colors I have are apple green and baja blue.

Rex is cool. I love how he's just sitting there minding his own business, watching the crazy cichlids battle it out. It must be very entertaining.
Yeah, they're all acting pretty ridiculous. Brick chasing anybody is like hoping a dump truck will catch sports cars. I might get Rex a cave he can use. He seems to love Boss' pot, but that ain't gonna work. He's actually thicker than he looks in the pic.

Chip eats really well despite the nonsense and has no issue coming up to get food.

That Oscar has amazing color!
Thanx. Brick eats all Hikari pellet brands. As he's gotten bigger the orange seems to be moving up his head. Originally he had all black fins and was a solid copper color. I might try the Hikari Vibra Bites, they're shaped like worms.
