Scooter profile. He and brother Stripey have a tight bond and act like a pair. They share a sponge cave. Both are original fry from Pip/Mongo. A fierce fighter but is more territorial than outright aggressive.

Here's Stripey, another one of the jumbo sons from Pip/Mongo. He doesn't have the nuchal hump or 'double decker' look of brothers Hulk and Tank, but he's just as massive. Almost looks like a supersized version of his mother Pip. He's the only huge male to produce fry.

Tank bosses Brick and Boss. Nosey asf!! They both freeze and stare at the camera. Brick's kinda cockeyed here.

King of the quads: so far all the four color offspring are out of Slade. At a certain angle his eyes are blue!

Shots of the 'all female' hrp tank. This is the large breeder. Harlequin, Xena, Blaze, and Minka are all residents. Not that you can tell here, they've disappeared! As I discover more females in the 125 (like Bullet) they will be plopped in. The zero population plan will continue.

Mongo and Slade seemingly communicating after a long fight. My hump or yours? Amazing fish.

1. Slade with son Brutus.
2. Mongo with grandsons Squiggy and Brutus and a pink gran fry at the bottom out of Harlequin. Both young adult males have fry of their own. Brutus is nearly pacing Mongo and Slade in size.

Bullet is another fireball. She has silver spangles and a blue/black throat. Very unique! Aggressive and chases the other fry in the tank. Like Harlequin, she's claimed a cave for herself. A daughter of Blaze/Mongo.

For all I know this is just normal female convict coloration, but to me Bullet looks similar to Leia in breeding dress. Minus the blue on the gill plate of course. Leading up to her laying, some spangles went silver. Even two blue ones right behind her gill plate. Love it!
