My 1000 Gallon Glass Aquarium (1000+ Gallons for Dummies)

Thanks to all the forum members who have been helping me out with the filtration. Currently, it looks like I will be best served treating the tank as a pond and going to that level of filtration. May even go sumpless! I hope to have the final details worked out soon.

Love the stacks of cars! SOunds like some serious power! HOw bout some car pics/info since the tank is a tease atm.
 
Anyone interested in the cars is welcome to PM me about any of them. I'll try to keep this thread about the tank. The cars could quickly derail this thread into a multi-page discussion all their own. :)
 
Got another e-mail from the builder this morning. There is one one mover in the city of about 1,000,000 that will move a tank that size and insure it. They want $3,000 to move it up to my place (about five hours) and plunk it on the stand. Now the builder is looking into bringing up a crew and building it on the stand in my garage. It won't be much cheaper, if any, but it won't be moved and handled as much either. Stay tuned. There may be lots of pictures of this thing actually being built from scratch. :)
