My 1000 Gallon Glass Aquarium (1000+ Gallons for Dummies)

Filtration is all but finalized. I'm going to run two Ultima 2000s with wlim 1/15hp Wave Series I pumps, and a wlim 22" BioWave glass bead filter with a 1/4hp Wave Series pump. I'm also switching the external boxes to a pair of internal trapezoidal boxes to better control water flow. I'll put a picture up later once I've finalized the bulkhead locations. I have something a little different in mind for that.

If you're considering bottom dwellers, a niger cat would be a perfect addition imo. They do a good job of keeping the sand aerated and spotless.

I don't think sand is going to be an option. Too much flow and the intakes for the glass bead filter will be on the bottom of the internal boxes. Like I said, something a little different.
