My 1000 Gallon Glass Aquarium (1000+ Gallons for Dummies)

Stand is at the powdercoaters at the moment. Once we get on top of the 16" of snow we got this past week, it should be ready for me to go pick it up.
 
Do you have a larger photo of your avatar? I'm a walleye tournament fisherman, and I'd be curious to get a better look at it.

Filtration is all but finalized. I'm going to run two Ultima 2000s with wlim 1/15hp Wave Series I pumps, and a wlim 22" BioWave glass bead filter with a 1/4hp Wave Series pump. Out of curiosity, what is the purpose of the trapezoidal boxes? Are you also planning on running a sump?
 
Pics, gonna copy your life support except in gonna run one Ultima II 4000 instead of 2x 2000's? Love the inter cooler piping in the photos! Miss my Turbo charged cars!!! A garage to envy!!!

The two internal boxes are placed about two feet off the side walls...centered in each half of the back wall if that makes sense. They are trapezoidal because I am running a 3D background across the entire back of the tank, and adapting a commercial background around a square box isn't going to happen. Trapezoidal also works better for drawing off the bottom. ;)

No sump. I can't get enough water flow through a sump to make it worth the bother. Everything is closed loop. ;)
