Alright made some more progress today, i've been working 60+ hour work weeks lately so it's been kind of hard to do anything other than sleep! so i'll be putting more supports on the stand, and bracing across the top. and i found a place that will sell me a 59 3/4" X 23" X 1/2" piece of plexi for $148.00, thats the cheapest place i could find. also i got my package from thatpetplace.com. the 1800 GPH pump ROCKS. i filled a 5G bucket up and used a 5' piece of 3/4" PVC, it shot water a foot out of the pipe.:headbang2anyways i'll get to the pics... i've put some pics of my mini monsters. one last question, what should i use to seal the pond liner to the plexiglass?

Just wondering how much a project like this set you back. Please post some prices if it's not too much trouble. I would like to get a bigger tank but I love working with my hands and if I can build a bigger one for cheaper, I'd rather do that.

Well so far i think i've spent about $200.00, maybe a little more. thats not including the pump, or the U.V. sterilizer. and i found that plexiglass pretty cheap for $148.00. i still have to buy a few misc. things. but when i am finished, i'll tally it all up for everyone. The $200.00 + was spent on 2X4's, 4X4's, 2 sheets of 3/4" plywood, some PVC, screws, wood glue, some wood stain, and the pond liner. then i spent $280.00 on the 1800 GPH pump, U.V. sterilizer, a 2" bulkhead, and some other stuff. Any ways thanks for the feed back. and again, what have people used to seal plexi to pond liner???
