Care to elaborate? Are you just trying to get more flow? What do you think you're missing out on by not having the overflow boxes?
I just want the overflows to be able to handle the pumps. I have 2 pumps each rated for 1500gph. I have (2) 1.5" overflows which according to the chart should flow 2100gph with minimal pressure. I figured that with only gravity feeding the overflows, they should be able to handle 1500gph each. Right now the 2 overflows are barley keeping up with 1 of the 1500gph pumps. The overflow are "gurgling" the water. They are vented, I have tried feeding air into the overflows using a smaller diameter tube....nothing seems to increase the flow to where it should be. I feel overflow boxes might cure this.

Which chart?

From above...

size _GPM __GPH
1/2 = 2.50 = 150
3/4 = 5.63 = 337.5
1.0 = 10.0 = 600
1.25=15.6 = 937.5
1.5 = 22.5 = 1350
2.0 = 40.0 = 2400

"I figured that with only gravity feeding the overflows, they should be able to handle 1500gph each. Right now the 2 overflows are barley keeping up with 1 of the 1500gph pumps."

I think you will find your drains are running horizontally... which is about a 1/3 slower again.

Gravitational Horizontal Flow This is for horizontal applications that do not rely on a pump, or the force of a vertical pipe. These flow rates are considerably less than the vertical rates because gravity does not offer a significant horizontal force. It is a balance of gravity and the viscosity vs. the cross sectional area of the pipe.
size_ GPM
1/2 = 1.563
3/4 = 3.517
1.0 = 6.253
1.25= 9.769
1.5 = 14.07
2.0 = 25.0
