figured i would update this thread while i was showing pics in another thread.

"1st pic is how it was,and yes i know it is gross,i do what i can.lol
i added bags of gravel,thats all the gravel i have at the moment.
also just built the separator thing,
before the media would do what it wanted,like in first pic.
now it stays in place.i think it will help alot.
the rest of the pics are as i put it back together after a cleaning."

Those sponges look like standard kitchen sponges and scrubbies. Were they used first and if so how did you clean them sufficiently before reusing them?

brand new from big lots,6 in a pack for a buck.
rinse real good
i tore off the green scrubber side off the sponges,theres glue there.
glue should come off with green scrubber
