People need to do research before they buy a fish. People just buy a fish cause it looks cool not knowing how big it gets. It you don't ask at a pet store they don't tell you they just want to sell the fish. :irked:

I did something bad that I Remembered I did over the summer:(
I went fishing in the Rio Grande and I had a jar of 20 goldfish and when I was down to 4 goldfish I accidentally knocked the jar over and the goldfish swam away
IM BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:(
I hope a fish ate them before they will grow and breed:(

Whenever this subject comes up I can't help but think of Jim Carrey as the Riddler prancing around in green spandex blowing up the bat cave... He's funny and he's right...

Right?! Too bad most people are dumb and the stores are greedy.
But I have to hand it to mine, when the new fish-guy came in, he quit ordering RBP and oscars because they get so large.

Yeah, there's lots of RBP in ponds around here, and I heard of Bichirs being found in springs up north...I forget, I think they were ornate ones, but I wished I had found them. I'd put them right back into captivity n.n!

I went on a fishing trip at lake okachobie or how ever you spell it the famous lake in florida and I was bass fishing and I caught 5 dang Oscars and talked to a guy that said he has caught juvenile oscars while blue gill fishing .... just another example of some people not being responsible pet owners I mean common its like saying hmmm I want a pitbull or rottweiler ( I LOVE both breeds of those dogs btw) and wakeing up one day and saying hmm I don't want it anymore and taking and turning it loose and letting it go wild .... When are people going to learn
