The 1" Diameter x your length choice suction screen should be just fine.

I've never used loc-line for any project. Why not try it and see how it works. You can always change to a spray bar if the velocity isn't what you want.

I found a green coarse filter pad 12inch round x 1 inch thick at a Pond Store . It fit's perfect in the 2262 I should be able to use this instead of the eheimfix ?
What do think.

SHould work just fine. I have cut out and made my own sponge pads from pond filter sponges for the bottom of my 2260, which is working great so far. I'm using about 2-3" of sponge though. 1" of sponge might be a bit too minimal unless you don't really have much in the way of particulate matter coming in the intake.

I just want to use it with my BIO Ball for now until I get my Eheim Media to fill the filter next month.
I think the pad is for Tetra Pond filters {It' what they sell the most in the store} It didn't have a name on it . Should be good I only have is plants and small fish's in my 110g tank

I stand corrected the sponge is 2 inch think and 12 inch round an it doesn't have a name on it.
I plan on packing the container with BIO Ball's an use the stock intake /return for now until I get all
parts needed and the media ,
When I get the new media I will only replace half of the BIO Ball's to seed the new media. My temp in my tank
is hitting 92F an I got the fan on top of the pump.

I've just painted the stock intake a couple of coats and sanding with Black Paint and the Eheim Gray Spray bar also painted Black. {will post pic later}

My question is now I've notice that on the Box and Manual it shows putting the Eheim Ehfifix on top of all the Media but in other resources I notice it being place between
the Eheim Ehimech and the Eheim Ehfisubstrat Pro ? Witch is the best placement.

Eheim Ehfisubstrat Pro Made of sintered glass for long term use an the Azoo Quartz Balls Made from lava through high temperature process
Is one better than the other , Would Sintered Glass last longer than Lava , They both have to go thru a High Temperature Process to get there shape?

extension for the 16/22 going to try to get 45inches length

May I ask where you found this? I can't seem to find it (the spraybar assembly) anywhere online.
