How can that be good for the fish??? Surely a pure silver barra as close to a native would be more appealing i'm from northern Aust just dont like to see native fish breeds messed with.. I guess if thats what appeals to you though.
Ur a nut. Geelong isn't in northern australia. lol. I'm more northern than you!

These are natural colour mutations, just like how rarely there are albino humans, very rare.

Have u seen the pics around of platinum barra caught up north and sooty grunter that is orange?

the ignorance must be so bliss

like has been said its a natureal genetic mutation thats why its so rare only a handfule of these types around
like i said before like albinos a NATUREAL genetic mutation
i would give 10,000 normal baras for 1 of these
normal baras are like a greyish silver these wipr the floor with it

albino laucitic xanthic platinum........
alll happen in the wild while vary rare it happens but usualy wen it hapens wen they are small they stand out and are eaten by predators
these wer mor likely bred in a farm wer wen they wer born they would of been put in seperate tanks to stop any predation or canibalisam
they wouldnt let a fish thats worth sumwere in the four figure $$$ get eaten
every now and then on fishing forums you see sum albino laucitic xanthic platinum... fish being caught
