Something smaller arrives:irked:, no wonder the fish are glued to the bottom and getting fat;) In the bottom of vortex 2, the sound at the end is me getting out of vortex 2;)

 I'm really starting to want a pond now... mmmm I wonder what depth I need to go to stay out of the freeze zone up here... Time for some research :D
Your really cold right? down to minus 10-15, you'll need at least 6-8 foot

Yeah it gets Really freakin Cold here... I'm thinking that I'll have to settle for a more shallow pond since it will have to go in the front yard at this point... more thinking is needed before I grab a shovel... although my shovel is ready... sitting outside the patio doors... begging to be used LOL

hey basslover if you go 8ft and use a bubbler and a circ pump you should be fine. as long as the water stays moving its good you may not even need quite that much but better to be safe than sorry... I have seen a few ponds in my neck of the woods that are that deep and they have all been fine. just need to keep air in there and the water moving and no need for heat. just be careful of the power outages those are what will kill you if thet are to long
