New project, will take a long time

Man it was 55F here today!...I feel for you Brother!...White is the cleansing of the land, I know, but unless that happens at 55f no thanks...:D

Looks like the Koi will be at the bottom for a while...;)

To true bro. It hit -10c(14f) last night. I'm leaving the snow on to keep it warm I know that sounds daft.

Nice to see you on the road to recovery.
 
Snow is a great insulator. Thats why you should build a snow cave if you get stuck out in a storm. It will keep you from freezing to death.

It's true but I'd rather have a nice central heated house(pond) rather than a hole in the snow.

Well it's been three months with no sign of any fish the the temps being so low and the fish glued to the bottom. Yesterday I got home and notice the showa near the surface. Today I came home and managed this snap, kohaku, showa, white ghost and the sanke all heading to the surface. Not really interested in food but still looking fine.

Now the temps are rising I can finally start planning getting this thing total clear:
