MuHahahaha....
that looks like a box of pump and a bag of pipe fittings....
Specs?

BTW Nice dyson vac in the background I got both the small and large "ball" vacs...
Sequence 18k, the old pump was the 10k, the difference is once you go above the 12k model(15 and 18) the motor is twice as powerful. The 10k has a max head height(stop it zen;)) of 2.4 meters with the smaller motor. The 15 and 18 will do 5.5 meters and still produce a flow.

In American that's 4755 us gallon per hour at 0 head(stop it;)).

Now for the math in liters, usg in ():

At the head I'm pumping into the Nexus minus head loss is 16440 (4342)the nexus can handle only 10k(2641) which leaves me an extra 6440(1701) to spare. Now the sieve can only handle 18000(4755) at max, which the base of the pump is, minus the 2x90 degree bends that run from the drain so the pump will run dry.

But, I'm going to T off after the pump and return to the sieves sump so the pump will never run dry:

a. Best case I've got enough 6440(1701) left to power the foam fractionator which will return to sieve.
b: Worst case I've not and it'll still return to sieve.

No worries, just stick a long for the ride, it's been going on for two years of good and bad, sooner or later I'll run out of really big things to add to the pond.

Stabilizing this amount of water is a nightmare and it's not really that big of a pond:eek:

From what I read in the past I think your pond is about 4000 US Gallons or so? My project will be around 10000 to 12000, Looks like I will have my work cut out for me!

Nearer to 5k, my new pump will turn the whole pond over in 1 hour.

Good luck with the build, if I can offer one piece of advise at that level of volume, fit at least 3 x 4'' bottom drains.

Do you not use a skimmer? Just wondering

This is one of the better ideas you've had in recent memory, in regards to that hole in the ground that you dug ;).

('Tequlia's shovels'- New 'F' duct in development)

P.S. why are you releasing insider ideas before they are out of the developement stage?
