This is supposed to be summer:irked:

First day in recent memory where it hasn't rained at all today:headbang2
A few more in a row and it should have dried out enough to get the drain and pipework in:)

No dancing required, it didn't work out last time:ROFL:

Now that's great news...

Looking good. I am still waiting to see this whole vortex steup. I just can't wrap the brain around that one. Gonna have to see it I guess.

A couple of pages back X24 was having trouble with the bracing idea so I rendered a little diagram, unlucky for you I happened to be very bored at the time so a quick sketch will have to do;):
v2.jpg
1. From bottom drain, water enters at the base of vortex one and spins(see next picture) heavy solids are driven down to the waste chamber 2. at the bottom. Each chamber will have a valve fitted for purging the heavy waste.
v3.jpg
The input and outlet pipe via gravity causes the water to spin. Up and down into chamber two which is fitted with matting, again the water spins for maximum exposure to the media and on to chamber three for bio and then into the return, all leveled to the pond, as water is pumped of of the return chamber gravity feeds the other three behind it.

I could have done a really nice diagram all in a neat line but in reality the return chamber(after test fitting) is going to be in between chamber 2 and 3 and the waste is going above water level(of one, two and three) in between chamber one and two.

Sounds so simple when put like that;)

I know the diagram only shows 2 vortexes and not three but you get the idea? Any more questions, or if I'm not clear enough feel free to ask:)

It's still not rained BTW, fingers crossed. Two more days of the dry and then who knows where I'll get too

We won't even talk of the "you know what" until after it hasn't "you know what'd" for long enough for you to get the drains done...
Good luck Brother...
