I meant that no matter how well your guys cleaned that gravel, you will have silt from the gravel as soon as you start the water flow. It wont last long, but thats a lot of gravel, so expect some dirty water on start-up. I'm sure it will be plenty clean after that with all the filtration you have going. I love the idea! I'm kinda confused, though... Are you going to use aquatic plants or regular plants? I dont think it will make a difference, just curious.

I'm going to use kind of hybrid plants. They come in dirt but I've heard that they grow in marshes and bogs. I bought them at the green house. We'll see if it works.

The workers were busy yesturday. They did some cool rock work blending the steps into the landscape.

Here are some pictures of the pipe work. I now, don't put it under concrete incase I need to change something. Too late!

The lone pipe going up is to the wet steps with the pebble rock.

Here are the two filter skimmers with a reduction to the outside pipes going to the waterfalls. I tried to use as few 90 degrees as possible to decrease friction.

should be interesting to see what birds of prey try to hit the fish

are any of your borders on your property open to undeveloped or are you in a totally developed area

I was the second house to be build. There wasn't any electricity and barely any water. Now the highway run about 300 meters from my house. This is a picture that I took while I was watching tv in my living last year. We don't see them anymore though.
