Here's an update of some of the flowers and orchids that are blooming around the pool. I have a totally different type of algae that has moved into the filter. Its not stringy any more. It used to be green, now its a light brown. It seems like it comes in waves, maybe with the temp. changes of the weather.
Here are also some pictures of the dominent male Guapote. He's chasing everyone around again. I gues its mating time. He's really starting to develop a large hump. When he turns sideways he looks huge. I'd say he's weighing about 6 or 7 lbs.

Wow, just got through all 74 pages and I have to say that this is one of the coolest pond/pools I've seen! The whole idea is really neat and I wish that Washington was warm enough (haha, yeah right) to support something like it. I'd never leave! Kudos on the hard work that sounds like it's not over yet.
