I looked up the nanotech product. Wow! I don't think I can get ahold of that down here though. In a couple of months I'm going to coat the whole thing with transparent pond armor. I already bought it. They also recommend sprinkling silica sand lightly over the last coat to give it a little grip to prevent slipping. It should also help ease the scrubbing off of the algae.

or given the particle size or structure within the coat, potentially make it worse for you in actual scrub duties. Beetroot stained grooves on a chopping board comes to mind, cant see it till you have colour contrast in places not easily reached. I hope this isn't the case.

The latest is that I emptied the whole thin out and I'm going to line the inside with clear pond armor. The leaks where kicking my butt.

I did the best that I could, but I lost quite a few of the pretty cichlids. It seems like the prettier the fish, the more delicate.
